Kid's Activities in Port Angeles

  • Dream Playground – A large, community-built playground with separate areas for younger and older kids. No matter what age, the Dream Playground offers fun for your kiddos. If you brought your bikes or skateboards the pump track has a great area for little ones and a more advanced track for the bigger kids - next to the skatepark.

  • William Shore Memorial Pool – Offers swimming lessons, lap swimming, and family-friendly water activities.

The wellness pool and activity pool, which includes a lazy river and vortex ring, is kept at a comfortable 88 degrees. Swimmers also can relax in a 104-degree hot tub. Chlorine is made on site from the pool’s saltwater, and filtered by ultraviolet light, resulting in a neutral PH and less eye and skin irritations than traditional pools.

  • Feiro Marine Life Center – A small aquarium where kids can see and learn about local marine life up close.

    • The Feiro Marine Life Center is a non-profit education center and public aquarium located in Port Angeles, WA. It focuses on marine conservation, education, and hands-on learning experiences about the Olympic Peninsula’s coastal ecosystems.

What You Can Experience at Feiro Marine Life Center

      • Interactive Exhibits – Get close-up views of local marine life, including sea stars, anemones, crabs, scallops, fish, and even a giant Pacific octopus.

      • Tidepool Touch Tanks – Kids and adults can gently interact with marine creatures in real-time tidepool displays.

      • Educational Programs – The center offers youth camps, guided tours, and citizen science programs to help visitors learn about marine conservation.

      • Marine Discovery Center Project – Feiro is collaborating with the Olympic Coast National Marine Sanctuary to create a new Marine Discovery Center on the Port Angeles waterfront.
