Cancellation Policy

Late Payment Fee Schedule and Late Rental Return Policy Paddle Pacwest LLC 1. Introduction This Late Payment Fee Schedule and Late Rental Return Policy ("Policy") is incorporated into every rental agreement for kayaks and paddle boards provided by Paddle Pacwest LLC ("the Company"). By renting our equipment, renters agree to the terms and conditions set forth herein. 2. Grace Period and Late Fee Schedule Grace Period Renters are granted a 15-minute grace period beyond the scheduled return time. Equipment returned within this period will incur no additional late fees. Late Fee Schedule If rental equipment is returned beyond the 15-minute grace period, the following fees will apply: 0 – 15 minutes (Grace Period) $0 15 – 60 minutes overdue $50 1 Hour- 24 Hours minutes overdue $100 24 Hours + $500 No Show after 48 Hours $1600 3. Payment of Late Fees Immediate Payment: All late fees are due immediately upon return of the rental equipment. Accepted Methods: Payments can be made by cash, credit card, or other accepted payment methods. Outstanding Balances: If the renter fails to pay the outstanding late fee at the time of return, the fee will be added to the renter's account. Interest may accrue on the overdue amount at a rate of 2% per month until the balance is fully paid. 4. Failure to Return Rental Equipment on Time Definition: Failure to return rental equipment is defined as not returning the equipment within two (2) hours after the scheduled end of the rental period. Additional Charges: In such cases, beyond the late fees outlined above, the renter will be charged: The full daily rental rate for each day (or part thereof) the equipment is not returned. An additional loss or replacement fee, as determined by the Company, to cover operational and inventory impacts. Collection and Enforcement: If the equipment is not returned within the specified period, Paddle Pacwest LLC reserves the right to: Initiate contact with local authorities.
